General Library Information

Our school library is an important part of the Cali experience, and we encourage families to help students develop responsible library habits.

Book Checkout

  • Books are checked out for 2 weeks.
  • Books may be renewed up to 6 times.
  • Students with an overdue book may not check out a new book.

Late Fees

  • Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade are charged a 10¢ per day late fee for each overdue book.

Help Your Child Stay Library-Ready

Please partner with your child to help them return library books on time. This ensures they can continue checking out new books during their class library visits.

It can be disappointing for students when their classmates are able to select new books and they are unable to do so because they have an overdue item.

    With a Sonoma County library card, residents can now browse Spanish-language digital books on Overdrive and on the reading app, Libby.

    Britannica School is a trusted online research tool provided by Encyclopaedia Britannica and available to our students and staff. It offers safe, reliable, and age-appropriate information to support classroom learning and independent research.
