Cali Calmécac Language Academy brings together Spanish and English speaking students to help them become bilingual and bi-literate while promoting cross-cultural understanding and academic excellence. Our students in grades preschool through 8 benefit from programs that promote positive social interaction and personal development. Cali Calmécac Language Academy has a seperate enrollment process and requirements from the rest of Windsor Unified. It also does not offer rolling enrollment. For the 2025-26 school year, the enrollment window will be Feb. 24 to March 7, 2025. Finally, Cali Calmécac Language Academy generally does not accept new students after second grade.

We are so excited you are considering our school for your child, please see the directions below for information regarding our enrollment process. As a charter school with a waiting list every year, we may not be able to accept every child who applies. We have a points system for assessing each application, and determining enrollment. If you have questions about this process, please do not hesitate to reach out to us:
TK-8th at (707) 837-7747
Pre-School (707) 837-7785.
To learn more about what is required of families joining our learning community, please check out our Partnership Pledge.
Pre-enrollment for the 2025/2026 school year will be available to those who attend ONE of the parent night meetings and will close March 7th.
Though we have a new system, there are still FOUR steps to complete a registration:
STEP 1: Attend the Parent Informational Night Meeting [Find this unuder the grade level (TK or Kinder) tab]
STEP 2: Complete the Pre-Enrollment [This will be provided to parents at the parent infomration night]
STEP 3: If your child is admitted to Cali, then you will be receiving a letter from the school welcoming your student and guiding you through the next step of the process, which will be the registration of your student to the district Aeries Portal.
STEP 4: Submit the required paperwork in person [Yes, even though you’ve uploaded it twice]
There is a point system process to be accepted into CCLA.
1. Proof of your child’s age and identity (birth certificate or other acceptable documentation).
2. Immunization Records - This is just to obtain an initial record of your child's immunizations. You do not need to be up-to-date on immunizations quite yet. A physical exam and a dental exam will also be required before the first day of school.
Health Examination For School Entry Oral Health Assessment Form Formulario de evaluación de salud dental
3. Proof of Residency - Any TWO of the following documents showing the name and address of the parent/guardian within the district.
If you have questions, please contact our office at (707) 837-7747 (for Pre-School use extension 36004) between the hours of 8am -3:00pm, Monday - Friday. Check our website calendar for any closures.

To determine enrollment priority for new students, each application is first sorted based on the language balance needed for the instructional model. School administrators will determine the appropriate linguistic group for each student application.
Within each of these groups, one point is given to student applicants for each of the following:
Child of CCLA and/or WUSD District staff members
Sibling of current CCLA student(s) [Bothers & Sisters ONLY]
Windsor Unified School District attendance area residents
Attending the in person information meeting
Filling out a questionnaire
Applications are ranked based on the number of points. Applications with more points assigned are placed into classes first. Thus, applications with four points would be placed followed by applications with three points and then applications with two points, etc.
To enter into the Pre-enrollment process, you will have to attend ONE of the inormational nights found under the prospected grade tab found here
You will only enroll thorugh Aeries once your student was accepted.
Aeries Online Enrollment allows you to quickly begin the process of registering a new student for school. Student data is entered such as emergency contacts, previous school information and home language.
Upon completion, this data is sent electronically to the school.
To start registering a new student, click the "Enroll a New Student" button below. If you wish to reprint or review student information for a previously enrolled student, click the Login button.
You will be prompted to upload a copy of your students' Birth Certificate, two types of Proof of Residency (ex. Water Bill, Utility Bill, Mortgage Statement) and most recent Immunization Record. If you are unable to upload these documents, you will be asked to provide them when you arrive at the school of enrollment. The online process generally takes 20-30 minutes. If you are unable to complete the process once you’ve begun, you can log out and resume the process later. These forms will need to be brought in person to the front office.
If you have any issues registering your new student online, please check that your browser is up to date. We recommend Google Chrome, which you may download here *Google Chrome Download
