Free Dress Days (School Dress Code Applies)

TK–8th Grade – Last Friday of Each Month

All students are welcome to participate in Free Dress Day. Students must follow the dress code guidelines below:

1. Clothing Coverage: Clothing must sufficiently cover the chest, stomach, back, buttocks, and upper legs, reflecting modesty and good taste. Tops with spaghetti straps, tank tops, bare midriffs, low necklines, and short shorts are not allowed.

   • If a student can raise their arms above their head without midriff showing, the top is appropriate.

   • If a student can put their arms at their sides without skin showing between shorts/skirts and the legs, the bottom is appropriate.

2. Shoes: Shoes must be worn at all times. Open-toe shoes without ankle straps, flip-flops, and sandals are not allowed.

3. Pants Fit: Pants must fit at the waist and be worn at waist level at all times. Oversized or sagging pants (more than one size above waist) are not allowed. Belts may not hang down or be oversized.

4. Prohibited Clothing/Accessories: Clothing or accessories that depict gangs, drugs, tobacco, violence, sexual content, or offensive language are not allowed. Red or blue clothing/accessories (including backpacks or lunch boxes) are not allowed, except for blue jeans on Free Dress Day with no other blue clothing. Logos of any type are not allowed.

5. Outerwear: Jackets, coats, or other outerwear must be plain (green, white, grey, or black) and free of words, designs, or images related to gangs, drugs, alcohol, obscenities, or sports teams. This includes “North” or “South,” “red” or “blue,” the brand “South Pole,” or the numbers 13 or 14.

6. Ripped or Holey Pants: Pants with rips or holes are not allowed at any time.

2025–26 School Year Note: Middle school students may not wear plain white t-shirts on Free Dress Day.
