Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day 2021

Nuestros amigos de AAA, en asociación con la Fundación Ruby Bridges, han lanzado una nueva iniciativa para celebrar este ícono de los derechos civiles. Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day fue fundado en 2018 por un grupo de estudiantes de primaria de la Escuela Primaria Martin en San Francisco, con la visión de construir un movimiento a nivel nacional.

Únase a nosotros en el Día de Caminar y Rodar el 17 de noviembre para apoyar la erradicación del racismo. Reúnanse con nosotros entre las 7:30am y las 7:45am en el Town Green.


In November of 1960 at the age of 6, Ruby Bridges became the first Black child to integrate an all-white elementary school in the South. Today her story continues to inspire the next generation of leaders to end racism together one step at a time.

Our friends at AAA, in partnership with the Ruby Bridges Foundation, have launched a new initiative to celebrate this Civil Rights icon. Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day was founded in 2018 by a group of elementary school students from Martin Elementary School in San Francisco, with a vision of building a nationwide movement.

Join us on Walk & Roll Day on November 17th to walk in support of ending racism. Meet us between 7:30am-7:45am, Town Green.
